Footwear Design and Development Institute or FDDI is an Institute of National Importance (INI) established in 1986 under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India. FDDI has introduced one of its institutes in the Green Mountain Valley at Chhindwara, which was established in 2010, and is one of the premier institutes in the field of Footwear, Fashion, and Retail Management.
FDDI Chhindwara courses are offered in bachelor's and master's degree programmes in Footwear Design and Production Management, as well as Retail Management. All of the FDDI Chhindwara courses meet international standards. Footwear Design and Development Institute has 12 full-fledged campuses across the country. Noida, Chhindwara, Kolkata, Ankleshwar (Gujrat), Patna, Banur (Chandigarh), Fursatganj, Rohtak, Chennai, Guna, Hyderabad, and Jodhpur are all FDDI campuses.

FDDI Chhindwara admissions 2024 requires students to appear for the AIST exam. AIST 2024 will be held on May 12, 2024. The FDDI Chhindwara merit list will be out on May 31, 2024, and the counselling is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of June 2024. Students can view their individual results by logging in with their username and password on the official website. The Footwear Design and Development Institute administers the FDDI AIST exam at all of its campuses in order to provide admission to its various courses. The FDDI Chhindwara counselling process is based on a candidate's aggregate marks in the AIST entrance exam. Candidates' scores in the UCEED entrance exam are also accepted by the institute.
